Bimeda are calling for farmers to review their scab control practices in order to address two concerning issues: the year-on-year increase in sheep scab on UK farms, and the potential development of resistance to 3ML wormers. Bimeda Technical Vet Padraig Hyland and Northern Ireland Territory Manager Kevin McAnenly were in attendance and enjoyed engaging with attendees on topical animal health topics. Of particular interest were Bimeda's Ectofly Pour On and the Coseicure trace element sheep boluses. The boluses have been shown to improve fertility in ewes and are a firm favourite of Northern Ireland's sheep farmers in the pre-tupping months of July, August and September.

The Bimeda UK team were pleased to kick off the 2015 summer show season by attending the 2015 NSA Welsh Sheep event. Bimeda UK is pleased to announce that Emma Wormington has joined the sales team in the role of Territory Manager, South East. Emma brings with her a wealth of industry experience, having previously worked in Customer Development Manager roles at Novartis Animal Health. Emma previously worked for a large online pharmaceutical company following a degree in Bio Veterinary Science. As a farmer’s daughter and someone with strong interests in the veterinary industry she is very much looking forward to starting her new role with Bimeda.
