Bimeda to Attend BCVA

Bimeda a pleased to attend this year’s BCVA Congress in Harrogate. From 17th-19th October, Bimeda Vet Paudie Hyland will be joined by members of the sales team, to engage with UK Cattle Vets on disease issues as well as veterinary pharmaceutical and animal health solutions. Bimeda offer a wide range of treatment and prevention solutions for dairy cattle, beef cattle and calves. Bimeda representatives are especially looking forward to talking to vets about the latest addition to their range; Boviseal teat seal, which can form a key part of dry cow strategies on UK dairy farms.

Bimeda acquires Telsol Ltd

Acquisition of bolus with unique delivery technology to enhance ruminant product range Bimeda announced today that it has acquired UK based Telsol Limited. Telsol manufacture and market a range of large animal boluses that deliver superior benefits to livestock in the areas of weight gain and fertility, in particular. The boluses are different to other boluses on the market in that they are based on a unique delivery technology, developed by Dr Stewart Telfer in conjunction with the University of Leeds and Pilkington Glass. Bimeda were pleased to attend the Thame Sheep Fair this July. Bimeda Territory Managers David Mead and John Jenkins were on hand to discuss sheep ecto-parasite control. The event was very well attended and there was huge interest in Bimeda’s two key sheep ecto-parasite offerings: Ectofly and Gold Fleece.

Bimeda were delighted to attend this year's NSA Welsh Sheep Show, with Ectofly Pour On For Sheep being a mainline sponsor for the show. At the last BEVA Congress, Bimeda ran a competition to win a day at the races. There was huge interest in the competition, but the lucky winners were Louise Carter and Alison Gannon from the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. Along with their partners, and with Bimeda Sales Rep David Mead, Louise and Alison had a great day out at Exeter Racecourse, where they were thrilled with their prize of a three course meal and a seat overlooking the finishing post. At this year’s BSAVA we ran a competition to win an iPad. We had hundreds of entries into our competition, which involved answering questions about our revolutionary flea product, FLEE and our alcohol-free surgical scrub, Vetroxx. The lucky winner was Lara Scrivener, a RVN working at The Veterinary Hospital, East Grinstead, West Sussex. Lara was delighted with her win and her children were very surprised, commenting that their Mum "never wins anything" As you can see in the photo, dog Ben also helped Bimeda Reps Peter Stanton with handing over the prize.

Bimeda were delighted to attend this year's BSAVA at the NIA in Birmingham. Over four days, Bimeda staff were happy to chat to existing and potential customers, about the exciting range of Bimeda products in the Bimeda Companion Animal range.
